Nutrients....help!

i just bought miracle gro houseplant food the npk's are 8-7-6

And i also have miracle gro plant food spikes or sticks i would call them, the npk's are 6-12-6

will these work for the nutrients or do i need other materials...the food has other nutients but those are the main ones im worried about. or should i be worried about others also?

only a noob here but why buy generic crap that inst really suited to the application when for only a small amount more you could get some tried and proven nutes with all the other sub group nutes needed and balanced, plus ph buffered for what your growing. Mine greendream is a 3-1-5 man so ya phosphate seems to high but i'am only a noob
