Hey what do you think is the most important additive to finesse your flowering stage (besides the regular macro/micro)?

Fulvic Acid - Assists roots with nutrient breakdown and uptake.

Kelp - Feeds the microbeasties and also feeds the roots organically, great at all stages foliar or regular as an all around plant tonic.

Mycorrhizae Fungus or Bacteria - Microbeasties help the plant root nutrient uptake systems

Guano - Feeds the microbeasties, very great nutrient in any organic grow.

Carboloads - (Canna Boost, Sugar Daddy, etc.) Carbohydrates which are broken down and assist the plant in producing its own carbohydrates stimulating resin and robust growth.

PK boosters (Fox Farms dry solubles / PK 13/14 / Awesome Blossoms) - Chemicals get it done.

Other - Something else? What really kicks your buds into shape?

I'm guessing the dill pickle juice and tabasco is a scientific way or lowering pH for better nutrient uptake at root level.

Oh ya and blackstrap molasses was already in the list under "carboloaders" since its mosly a bunch of sugars it falls in that category.

Sarcasm? puhlease that was tastefully humorous.
this thread is funny...

i'd have to say that base nutes are the most importnat, IMO. you gotta start with something solid and then from there everything else works better or you might not need too much else to support your grow.

i like two part nute systems like sensi A B. Works for me.

haven't tried molasses yet but I keep hearing good things...might have to test it out the next time

happy turkey day to those who celebrate it...and if not, eh, just eat a lot of bird anyways. it's fun

yea-yuh I agree with that. of course you use base nutes like a 2 or 3 part or even 1 part but aside from that there are additives. I suppose some of the options up above could also be used as bases or as additives throughout the grow, but idk its just a look at what people are using.

looks like about half of people who responded are using different additives but not saying what they are. not helpful!

please post what additive you're using if you're using something unlisted, as there aren't really any I can think of besides flavored flushes... maybe ppl don't know what is in their products? seems like everything advertised as bud hardener / yield increaser consists of one or more of these products, so what else you guys using?
vitamins?

plus the way I see it to have a healthy plant when you start to flower is quite easy and doesn't require a vast network of interactions at root level. once you get into flowering mode however, a root system given good conditions to thrive will produce prolific budulars, but one without this system does not.

for example with my current grow I use a 2 part chemical fertilizer (GH Flora) for veg (with some microbeastiez) and then at bud I switched to Floranova (added kelp, etc.) and more microbeastiez. also a pk booster (liquid koolbloom) a few times throughout (not every time), a carboload, and a pk 13/14 booster for 1 week 3-4 weeks before harvesting. no pics of em right now but soon... probably toss some pics in here.

I'm also surprised more people aren't answering carboloads (molasses, sugardaddy, canna boost, floranectar) and pk booster (canna pk 13/14, alaska morbloom 0-10-10, koolbloom, hammerhead) as those should definitely be the most common...

I use Bud Candy along with some microbeastiez (voodo Juice), some Mother Earth Tea, Fulvic acid, Humic acid, Bud Blood, and Sensizym. I know it is a lot of AN products but it works well for me and it does exactly what I need it to do.

The last harvest I had I was 1.4 pounds per 600 watt HPS lamp. Please no haters on the AN, Teddy Pickles wanted more feed back on products used.

Peace!

Right on. Well Voodoo Juices are microbeastiez, Sensizym is enzymes, Earth tea = compost tea. Humic acid and Fulvic acid I sort of thought were the same but I just checked it out and they vary slightly. Bud Blood is a PK booster (0-12-25).

Bud Candy has a whole list of unorthodox ingredients that you don't see in most other bud boosters. Cool.

Thx and peace.

i dunno if any of you are aware of it but we've been trying to get rollitup to add a nutrient forum or subforum for quite a while now and he finally agreed. https://www.rollitup.org/nutrients/ (btw im not saying anything like "this is the wrong forum. blah blah blah," Im just letting you (and anyone else who sees this thread) know it now exists.

I posted this thread a day or 2 before that sub came out under general growing... oh well.

Gravity Bud Hardener is Kelp and B1... Purple Maxx I'm not familiar with so I'll google it...

Has Organic Acids and Amino Acids so probably Humic/Fulvic acid as well as aminos.

And what does that stuff actually do?

That's right, not a damn thing other than making the seller richer.

well kelp is all around plant tonic and humic/fulvic acids are good for nutrient absorption. the vitamins and minerals are just to fortify the root system I donno about the purple maxx stuff haha seems pretty ridiculous.
