Don't add anything. Plant straight into the happy frog, transplant that into Ocean Forest. Wait until you see a deficiency to feed anything don't even give any Cal mag. If you're still in veg give it grow big, if by the time you start seeing the plant running low on nuts you have already flipped give it tiger bloom. About a week after you notice you run short on NPK then it's totally safe to give it a dose of Cal mag.Im mixing ocean forest/happy Forest and will add some coco coir and perlite. I'm lost on how to feed. I read wait 5 weeks as Ocean Forest is strong, but after thant I am not sure where to find or what feeding chart to use. I have all fox farm nuits
I've used that same exact mix, myself, many times. It's pretty much like you say... for about 4-5 weeks, just pH'd water with a good amount of runoff each time. After the mix nutrients are exhausted, I used Jack's 3-2-1 every watering and pH everything to ~6.5. It's pretty much inert from there on, so you're basically running a quasi-hydro system. I have no idea what the FF nutes are like, so I can't comment on them.Im mixing ocean forest/happy Forest and will add some coco coir and perlite. I'm lost on how to feed.
