OG Butane Honey Oil Vacuum purge tek

First time for two things tonight. First time running top shelf nugs with butane (I usually do shake - mids) and more excitingly it's the first time I got to use my vacuum pump to purge the butane out of my eeeeerrrrrrllllll :eyesmoke:

5g in, 1.2g out.

I have it just sitting and chilling out so it relaxes and takes its true oil form... but I must say, it's the most stable oil I've made so far. I can squeeze it, touch it, pull pieces off with my fingers.

It's starting to calm down right now and oooooh my god looks amazing. More pics after it's all calm and BOMB status.
 
I just purge by first using a large cake sized baking dish so as to have the largest surface area possible, then after letting it boil off at ambient temp until it's done, 20-30 minutes or so, I stick it in the oven at 175 for about 25 minutes. Comes out like glass, but you need to razor it out of the pan while it's still warm or it flies everywhere.

This vacuum thing has me intrigued.

This took me 40 minutes with the vac purge from the time I ran the tane until it was done purging. No shatter glass, just pliable and really stable OG honey oil... with no whipping needed (like earwax or budder)

I love stable oil

Come tomorrow when it's all completely 100% calm and the bubbles have all gone, it'll looks amazing.
 
Day number two, oil is finally settled into its final state. I can peel this whole disc off and touch it, mold it, pull off pieces for dabs. It's so stable

its jack herer and mr nice guy.. both have a great cure for smoking

I just got an eighth of jack herer bubble hash though! It has the same smooth, even high as the herer... but definitely knocks you out.. great to do a little piece before a nap! or right after a long day :blsmoke:bongsmilie

I was just vaping it through the volcano, and then when I SQUISHED it with the herb iron, looked like class 5 tornado man just VROOM hash smoke expanding in the lungs like crazzy

bought some moon rocks the other day, i think that is Co2 extracted oil, very stabe very potent. that bho looks delicious.
 
Yes you can I assure you. The process is called supercritical fluid extraction and is a costly process but, you get a purer form of hash oil that is completly stable at room temps. You need to know some Chemisty and have some cash to build the machine but trust me it is good shit.

agree with this comment. I always check to see if there weedmaps menu is correct, I see Pure Sativas marketed as Indicas and Visa-versa. I have 3 collectives I use reguarly, 2 are deliveries and one has such a good deal you cannot beat it. 60 for two eights of top shelf.

Hmm subcool from TGA said the co2 extraction is crap compared to BHO. Ever since he convinced the people from his coop to quit using butane extractions they started using co2 extraction and its nothing really compared to the real thing. I have made my own bho numerous of times and never tried the co2 extraction planing on it in the very near future. SO i can make a more personal decision then.
 
I think that its not crap its just not what people are used to when you say oil and you got lots of little chunks. Its like vaping. People have been smoking weed for years and smoing hash for years and, with all the new tech out there, people I think are afraid to go in with an open mind. I recently bought an iolite and I love it, it gets me fucked up but, my Father-in-law tried it and said meh because there is no smoke. Maybe im just crazy but I think old school potheads are a little close minded when it comes to trying new things.

Oh im there with ya brother i love vaping but for some reason it take out the fun out of smoking. Ya know when your grinding up the weed getting a rolling paper and crutch ready roll it all then just kick it with the boys passing it around and smoking shooting the shit protending you know impressive smoke tricks haha :-D. What i mean crap compared to bho is that the potency isint quite there as it is with BHO. Didnt mean its crap dont buy it im still trying to get my hand on some to try it out for my self. I almost would think for clarity i would prefer the c02. Because even with using 5x filtered butane which i always have. I sometimes ended up getting mild heart burn after a few rips of bho which is why i only smoke bubble and full melt hash noiw nothing cleaner then ice and water extractions :-D
 
I can also assure you Co2 does oil, and its definintly not crap. As somebody stated its called Supercritical C02 Extraction, and again as stated it's not something that you just make in your house, it takes alot of fancy and expensive machines to make. I've personally seen Co2 oil, and it was lab tested at over 80 % thc. Im not sure what the percentage BHO is but honestly i dont think it compares to that... But anyways 0_o

BHO is awesome and i cant wait to run my own in the next day or so. How exactly did you go about vaccuum purdging it?
