Oh happy days

So I just got my 4 seeds from Attitude in the mail I'm so excited! 3 feminized Pure Chronic haze and 1 Dinafem UFO feminized freebie! I just got a grow box to, a fan and a 100w fluorescent. I'm using that and another fluorescent standard wattage I believe! Will post pictures of the 4 seedlings when they sprout. This is going to be an exciting experience

Thank you! Is there any advice you'd give to me light wise? I have a pretty small grow box(old printer box about L=3.5ft W=1.5ft H=5ft) I'm trying to just have one good light in there, preferably fluorescent

use more lights if you are planning on growing 4 at the same time, cfl's dont penetrate too much so you will need to have them covering the plants when they get bigger. worth investing in a 250w hps

Lif you wanna grow out a cannabis plant it's full life and well, a flourescent won't cut it. Need an HID bulb. I suggest 150 watt MINIMUM for one plant.

I'm just trying to use Fluorescent's for my first grow, I know that MH and HPS are much better but I want to stay low budget and cost effective. Is there any 100w+ Fluorescent's out there that aren't tube's?

you wont be able to do 5 plants with one cfl thats the point, you will ned bulbs down the sides of the plants, above the plants and all around 1 to 2inches away. if your growing 5 plants then thats a lotta bulbs and electricity being used and lots of heat to deal with whereas you could just jump in and get a metal halide or a hps bulb.
beleive me i started my first grow using cfl's when they were seedlings but ended up just switchin to hps and the difference is huuuuge
