He and I discussed what lighting would be best for my modest little 2x3 scrog and he freaking delivered. Holy shit am I excited about this light. It was all I could do to take enough time to snap a few pictures of it before hanging it.

The package arrived last night and was packaged well with plenty of padding to protect it. Inside the box, I found the light, ratchet straps, and power cord. The weight of the light was more than expected, compared to my janky aluminum angle homebuilt lights. This is a good thing as it feels sturdy, plus using all top tier components it should last a LONG time.

This particular light was custom built for me in a size to fully maximize coverage in my area. It is 32" x 14" with 250 ish watts available. If I ever need to increase wattage in the future, I could easily replace the driver with a higher mA version for over 400 watts. In my area however, there is no need for more wattage. As the light as is, it will deliver over 40 watts per square foot at around 2.7 μmoles/joule and 185 lumens per watt. I could not possibly ask for anything better than this light with current technology.

It probably seems like I am kissing ass here, because I am. The quality of this light, the communication from the seller, and the overall feeling I got from Dan that he wanted to produce the best light for my particular situation cannot be emphasized enough. Great job!

I just hung the new light and connected it through a kill-a-watt. On full power, it draws 287 watts. The heatsinks feel barely warm to the touch. This is a 3000k light and has much more red or orange color than the 4000k light it replaced. Currently, I have the light pulling 175 watts for my 2 Orange Blossom Special plants. The plants are a week or so away from flipping into flower.

Did you mean 32"x24"? Because 32"x14" is more like 80 watts per square foot - unless my math is broken today.

Really nice. I was going to have them do something similar with 4x QBs but after beating myself up with indecision ended up getting 3x 3SAMLs. They shipped yesterday and yes nice communication and great customer service. I will put up some pics of my new 4x8 Homebox Ambient R240+ that I imported from Berlin all lit up next week. Here it is with my old reliable TastyLED.20180806_195016_adj.jpg
