It's on the legislation for 2009 here.

Not looking for a discussion as to whether you think this will, or won't pass.

My question is, this is in the legislation, so when do we find out if this will pass? I have no idea how these things move/get passed/denied or what the timeline is.

We have had a bill here in missouri for two years and they keep kicking it back to another committe.If you know your reps and senator write them and urge them to vote yes.Tell everyone you know to write them.If they do not feel that there is any support from the public they will pass on it and it will sit somewhere till they feel it has enough support.
If they do not get it this year you will have to wait till dec and jan when pick what bills they want to work on for the year.You can go to NORML and they have form letters that you can send to your reps,just put your info in and they do the rest.Good luck.
One more thing,when it comes up to vote you will not know about it till the day before or the day the vote takes place.OPH

get on the norml website,find your states information there. Email all of your representatives ,senators, whoever ,tell them to support the bill, email all your friends have them do the same.
get involved!!!:P
