ok. after it all dry. does any body put it into a vacuum ? to get the butane out is it a must. im talking after its all dry, and ready to go. a friend is telling me I have to put it into a vacuum for a few hours or the oil can explode,. ? any experience is helpful. don't want exploding oil when being smoked , ..................................................................................................................................... this post is pertaining to oil from a ghost chilly pepper,
your friend has it all mixed up and doesnt know what hes talking about.
butane oil can explode when youre making it, and boiling off that intitial 5-50 cans of butane that you got sitting there. now that can explode!!!!!!
but once thats gone, there is 0 chance of an explosion ever happening.
you put the oil into the vacuum to suck out the remaining 2-5% butane. 80% of us use a vacuum chamber, it is THE BEST.
its not an absolute must, you can remove the butane other ways too. set your oil dish into a bowl of hot water for a few hours, keeping the water hot until the bubbles forming in the oil start to look the same size and speed. then you know its done.
when you smoke or light the butane with a flame, it should not crackle or burn or pop or anything. it wont kill you or blow the house up if it does.. just give you a harsh/possible gross toke, and if you smoke enough, can damage the body. thats why we vacuum purge. and then take it a step further and winterize.. look it up
