Ok RIU I need some advise quick. I'm currently on my second grow and I've move from a smaller apt to a bigger apt with taller ceilings. I want to know your thoughts I've been on the second grow for about 3 1/2 weeks and its going very well, do you guys think I should began flowering in 2 weeks or should I vegg it a lil longer ? My ceilings are around 9-10 ft so I have plenty of head room. I'm using a 400w mh and a set of t8's I'm gonna flower with the 400w hps. I know a general rule of thumb is to switch when there at the desired height but I'm beginning to get greedy since my first grow did pretty good. My grow room is HUGH ill get exact measurements later. Basically I just need to know whether to flower in 2 weeks or veg it longer. i was planning on switching to 12/12 on 4-20-13 thoughts.

Haha I posted this twice by accident. Yea I figured that much man I'm just wondering if I should go ahead and vegg it that long.

if you have all that height room id definatly veg it for another month at least

You should, here's mine today 29 days of veg. Still has a ways to go in veg. The longer you veg generally the higher your yield.

Veg it longer... Don't set a date in stone, go by "available space"... Make sure you have enough room to deal with the plant doubling, possibly tripling, in size when you flip to 12/12 due to the "stretch"... veg as long as you can and flip when they reach the height thats best.

I think I'm gonna give it a try and grow it out I'm gonna prob transplant next week to a 5g bucket I got tons of them around plus I have another bag of ffof so hell why not ill keep u posted...

That is if you have a bigger bucket, "more root".
I would go with a 10g if you have the room.

I guess the last size I got was a 7g

True, but that rule generally doesn't apply to hydro which is what I grow in.
