Ok I have a bitch with the newbies!

I see all these newbies coming here asking us on where to find a Dr. To sign off on their MMMR paperwork and we defiantly have the answer for them. I have helped a few. Never heard back from them. One or two posts and then they have vanished forever.

It sure would be nice if they stuck around and contributed to this forum instead of using the handful of us here and then dissappearing into thin air.

Anybody else feel this way?

Cmon all, stick around and contribute to helping other patients get their meds! I'm getting old and tired. Help others who have helped you.

Why do you care so much?

he has 169 posts so he is new but active. I know what you mean though, its always a problem on every forum when a noob comes, doesnt search for anything asks a question and leaves forever. I dont think this will ever change bro.

on the flip side, they might come back because they will be wanting their medicine for free lol.

Getting a doctors name and running really fragments the community, not just here but for the pro-cannabis movement everywhere. I think this is my third post, but I'm here to discuss this demonized plant and help others if I can. I can see how someone might get upset if they have put their necks out to help someone only to get ditched as soon as they get the information.

As for giving out doctors information to a newb, maybe you want to wait until they hit like 25 or 50 posts before extending a helping hand. Would sure cut down on the 2 posts and I'm outie situations.

Hi everyone, i'm at a loss as to where to find a Dr. to sign my papers, my family Dr. who has been treating my work related injury for the past 11 years does not feel comfy signing them but said if i found a Dr. who would sign, he would be happy to refer me to him/her. I live in Ontario and have searched till i'm blue in the face with no luck. If any one can help me, i would be very greatful, you can send me a private message if you like, and if i hear from anyone...sooooo many thanks in advance.

Is there any specific reason ie legal that your doctor doesn't want to sign your forms?

No legal reason, he says he does not know much about MMR and only feels comfortable refering me to a Dr. that would sign. I'm not going to push the issue with him, it's his right to refuse .

But you have the RIGHT to access if you qualify. This is the whole gatekeeper bullshit that Judge Taliano raged against during the Mernagh trial. But like you said dont push the issue with him. Nothing good will come of it for you sadly.

He said he will hook you up with a doctor that will sign ? Thats better than most doctors are willing to do.

Well i do qualify, and yes it's my right to self medicate, but the misunderstanding here is, If I were to find a Dr. that would sign, my family Dr. would refer me to said Dr. So i'm the one looking for the Dr. not him. There are some clinics like in Vancover that will see you over the internet, and charge you $300.00 to $400.00 but it's seems to be just a scam. So after searching for so long, i might give up and just grow my little 5 plants without being LEGAL. If i did six or over, Haprper is going to throw my 54 year old ass in jail. And if i chose not to grow because it's illegal, maybe i should support the black market, which i can't afford any way!So there you have it, for sure it's the Gatekeeper effect.
