Ill get some pics up of each in about ten min but for now, ill describe them

ihave 4 seeds from a accidental cross of lavender and HD and it look like 3 might be males with one good female, who needs some tlc, my question is if i wanted to save my males for pollen? what should i look for as traits i want to keep?

this one i think is female

this one im on the fence about

these two im sure are males

they arent in flower yet still vegging of course you cant tell yet for sure, but male plants have different growth characteristics and also have different nodes( they look different) thats why guy asked for pics of nodes

they are over2 months old( were very neglected for a bit) and are sexually mature so some signs should be visible i just dont know what to look for

Male plants tend to grow straight up and not lateral at all. I've read somewhere this is because in nature they want to spread their pollen up high.. but that being said, I've had plants that just grow straight up and become females.

Dunno..

You can most definitely get your preflowers in veg and see the sex before flowering, so yes you can tell this way for sure. I have had many males and every one has been different. There are no definite characteristics of males visible in your photos.

Y don't u just switch to 12/12 now? U said there. 2months old right? The males I've. Seen tend to grow REALLY well in the vegg cycle, tall and green, great looking plants, then the balls drop! almost overnight, a male plant will develop 3 "clubs" if u will, those are pollen sacks,

First pic looks male possibly. The second pic looks like a female, and maybe third. Fourth I cant tell at all. But time will tell.

True vapedup those sneaky males tend to look like the best ones (and sometimes the worst too and its a relief!)

Ur gonna have to just start the 12/12 cycle, and then watch the. Everyday, shit 4-5 times a day till u see either. Pollen sacks, or pistils. No other way to really. Tell, u might think its a male and u pull it, and all along it was a female, so just switch ur lights, and watch! Good luck!

Which one do u want to clone the. Male, or the female plant? And yes, u can take a clone from any plant u want, I've taken them with flowers on them b4 and had them turn in to NICE plants! When u take clones from A plant that is On a 12/12 cycle, u want to take from the bottom, as there is more rooting hormone in the bottom, vs growth. Hormone in the top Part

Sounds good, and with the long vegg period, they will show sex pretty soon, I would say no more than 2-3 days and u will know
