ok to flower for burst?

Have some slowish veg....part of the problem is that soft white (1830lumens, 25w) light are being used. Anyway, was wondering if it was ok to put the plants into flower for a week or two to speed up the growth, then switch back to 18/6? The space is roughly 2'x3', there is a clip on fan circulating air, an in-line duct fan exhausting air, the cabinet door stays open a few inches. Temps are usually between 76 and 84...with lights on.

here are a bunch of pics...

Can leaves be sprayed with carbonated water to give it more CO2?
Was thinking about adding nutes because when plants were transplanted, they seemed like they were doing better (thought it might be the fresh nutes in the Schultz Potting Mix Plus)...only issue is that it is supposed to feed for nine months.

alright, will try that. these have been growing since since Aug 8. in the pictures, the plants have been under light for 20 days (sad, isn't it?)...the root pictures were taken today.

how long should it be left on 24/0?

It looks like your plants could possibly be transplanted into bigger pots. Get those roots out of the light they need darkness to stay healthy. and yes leave it on 24/0 until you wanna flower and switch to 12/12.

the roots stay out of the light for the most part, that's why the containers are taped down to the bottom...and yes, there are drain holes. planning on transplanting in a week or so...was thinking just soil, per, and ver...then liquid nutes.

it probably gets down to 65 or 70 with the lights off... no idea on strain...just some bag seed. kinda done on a whim, ya know? trying to keep this as low budget as possible without counting on the sun...

oh, and working on getting mylar...(no need to say anything about the heat reflection from the aluminum foil)

planning on making a reflector, too.

I am growing some snow white feminised seeds from nirvana right now, and they are just a strain that is slow out of the gate. Mine arent even as big as yours and i have them under a 9000 lumen 2ft t5 and 4 daylight cfls around them(5 plants) So I am assuming patience is needed with all strains but some demand a bit more than others. but def going 24 hours will help.

transplanted today...plants may've been root-bound. found out that schultz potting mix plus is .12, .09, .07 ...now this is a time-release mix, but does that seem low? picked up a thing of miracid 30-10-10 from the parents' house, going to get a ph tester and see if the ph is too high, and then pending a recommendation, adding the miracid acidifier/food.

sound good?

You shouldn't be using soft white bulbs to veg. You should be using the daylight bulbs (blue package) with the 6500K spectrum (blue spectrum) .

Right now your using soft white (red spectrum) that they need for flowering.

Change your bulbs, but keep the ones you have, you will need them soon.

Yeah...was trying to avoid that since they were already around, but they'll be growing under daylight soon.

got the 26w GE Daylight CFLs...also got a pH meter, soil was 7.2 or so (analog meter). Would it be ok to add the Miracid 30-10-10 to lower the pH and feed a little (since the soil is .12%, .09%, .07%)?

I never check my PH, I'm sure somebody will read this sooner or later and stroke out over that, but it's true, I never have.

Best thing to do is check out peoples grow journals and see who's plants you think are looking good and do the things they do.

Re-adjust the bulbs so they are hanging sideways, not hanging down. More light will get to the plants then. Also thing about making a simple reflective hood. I like the seup
