I thought I was being really smart this outdoor growing season and wanted to utilize all the time I could to grow me a couple 'monsters'. So I started a bagseed purp in January and grew it under 14/10 indoors (and LST'ed it) until it got to be about a foot long. Fed it some high-N organic nutes. I then transplanted it outside in mid February (cuz it started to warm up) in a good soil mix high in N. I wanted to maximize yeild so i really went at it with LST/FIM and ended up with 10 main heads. Unfortunately, I forgot that the amount of daylight hours outside were 12.5-13 from February until late March. So this thing barely flowered for 1.5 months and then got confused and started to reveg again while it was still flowering (because the daylight was reaching 14 hours per day by April). It tried to finish flowering under 14/10 but all this stress just stunted its growth. It also occured to me that this was an indica because it stopped growing at a mere 2 ft. To top this off, little white bugs that looked like thrips started to build webs around the bud and mold formed too. Then the last of the large fan leaves died and i sprayed a LOT of diatomaceous earth and neem oil on the plant. That got rid of everything.. About 95% of the bud left on the plant hass rotted so ive been picking it off up until now. (I salvaged about 8 gs back in March and dried it but it tasted like crap so I dont even care). YET it is STILL hanging on and little weird looking 1- and 3- blade leaves are slowly forming. I think if it goes back into veg PROPERLY, it might actually make some decent bud with a decent yeild.
I have grown before and most outdoor plants around here flower from September through November.
Do you think this indica has time to reveg, grow bigger, and then flower? or am i just gonna fuck it up into some mutant pot plant? haha
