old mushrooms...

couple of my friends bought 8gs of some shrooms a month or so back, but havent had the time to use them. theyve been in a temperature controlled, dark environment in a plastic bag that i assume has been sealed for the entire time. they should be good, correct?
i've read that if mushrooms actually go "bad" they turn blue or mold visibly. also that it wont give you a bad trip, but just make you sick? thanks for the help.

if they were dried correctly and stored airtight they should be fine .
just look for a white/blue fuzz around it .
do I think it will kill you ? no .
but just putting this out there , is 8gs of mushies gonna make or break you money wise ?
Id say just buy more , personal opinion .
