On a mission to figure out what the best weed I ever smoked was?

I've been smoking for 17 years now, and I have 3 different strains that I have no idea what they are. But they were the best 3 strains I have ever smoked in my life. I have a favorite of the 3 which I paid $130 for 1/4 bag without hesitation and this was when I was 17. I remember finding a baggy that had some of that bud which we called "Davey Allen" cause that was the name of the guy who supposedly grew it. As soon as I smelled the bag I knew exactly that it was some "Davey Allen" that I had bought sometime back. I have never met the guy, so I don't know if he even exists. But the price was $130 a 1/4 oz, $260 a 1/2 oz, and $520 an ounce. No deals ever and noone ever complained. That was 15 years ago. The other 2 strains were around the same time too. My dad actually was getting one of my favorite strains, but he isn't alive anymore and I doubt that he knew exactly what strain it was anyways. For some reason I think it might have been a really good cheese. This was back in 1995. I don't know if Cheese was even a known strain then. Being from Kentucky we don't have a medical marijuana scene, so you rarely know what strain you are smoking unless you are growing and buying the seeds yourself. These strains would be completely dry but would leave trichs stuck to the baggy turning a brand new baggy that was clear a foggy white color covered with frost from the buds. The shit was sticky and stunk very bad. All 3 strains did, and they all expanded my lungs so bad that you would cough your head off of every single hit. You had to smoke a joint between 3 people so you would have time to catch your breath by the time the joint got back around to you to hit it again.

Anyone else got some stories like this?
