Soil im paying like 6 bucks for 12 quarts of soil. One bag fills about 2 two gallon pots. Im thinking of bumping to 4 gallons and have already spent a shit ton of money on soil. Does this sound about right for the pricing. Its E.B. stone organics seed starting mix.

yeah.... And soil is easy to steal, i recommend it to everyone... I think you should go rob a hardware store for some soil, then you wont ever have to pay again! =]

I use premier Pro-Mix. It comes in 3.6 cubic foot bails and its packed solid. You have to srape it out and fluff it up. It costs $20 bucks and fills a shit load of pots. I'd rather spend $20 than steal from a local business thats having trouble nowadays anyway.

Yea your right i didnt even think of the huge cube soils they have outside thanks.

Will they have Pro mix in California if so who carries that.

It should be available out there. It could be at a farm supply store like Agway or Blue Seal or a landscape supply. Its good stuff. It is a soiless mix. It has peat moss, vermiculite, perlite and sand all mixed together. I like it.
