One of my plants started to preflower. Is this a male or female plant? It’s a clone of a female (staples og strain)

Here’s a couple pics. I know balls=male. But I’d this just a plump female pistil or a Hermie? Just need some extra sets of eyes. I’m a new grower so this is all new to me. Thx.

awesome...lol. i know it doesnt look exactly like a male preflower, but it didnt look exactly like pics og other female preflowers either. its the first of my 3 plants to preflower so far. an indica dominant hybrid. i have them all outside...not sure if i will let them flower naturally with the seasons or force 12/12
 
yeah, i know....but i fimmed my plants about 2 weeks ago and wasnt sure if this specific one stressed out into a hermie or something. this is my first go around growing any cannabis

yeah stress can do that but a true female would revert back once that stress is overcome
