One Seed Two Plants??

Ok so ive never seen or heard of this before but i recently germinated a twista108 seed froom attitude and when it sprouted there were 2 plants.

I looked into the rockwool cube and i cant quite tell if they are joined at the root but does anyone else have any experience with 2 sprouts coming from 1 seed and if so what do i do. I was thinking i might kill one of the sprouts but im not sure what to do.

never encountered this before +rep for help from people with experience

Hi

Twins can occur when two grains of pollen hit the same place at the same time, but even then there is just a small chance.

This wont happen much in nature but when we pollinate in a protective enviroment this gets a higher chance of occuring.

You should be able to seperate them as early as possible and grow the seperate.

Hey guys

I recently decided to make a hobby out of growing since I hate dealing with dealers...

I germinated my seeds and planted them in some soil outdoors, they all sprouted and were growing just fine.

Since this is my first proper grow(have my own house now) I am intrigued about everything they do, so one day I was adding a little water and I noticed a new sprout about 4cm away from an established sprout, I thought it was something else until I brushed away some soil and it was another sprout... I'm racking my brain as to how this is possible, they were not joined and was it a safe move transplanting it so young?

I'm in New Zealand, any tips?

hey bro

im not much of a scientist but arnt twins more likely to have twins? hopfully 1 is a male and 1 is a female them u could breed them.

Im From NZ aswell if u ever have a problem with spider mites use yates mite killer. u can get it fron the warehouse or most gardening places its awsome, better than that shit "spray safe" sog sells (waste of money)

Congrats on getting twins! Separate them as soon as ya can. Usually when a seed sprouts twins, one will be smaller and weaker then the other. Most growers cull the smaller one, but I have also seen a few growers get fire out of both. If you choose to grow both, keep an eye on the smaller one (as it will be more susceptible to stress.)
