Open sesame organic fert question?

So I got this pellitized/powdery fert called open sesame which is 5-45-19 that I used for my last grow and I burnt my plant. I used a teaspoon in a gallon and gave her the whole gallon which I learned my lesson. But my question is how much should I use to mend this fert into my soil so I don't have go check on them atleast every week. I'll be using a 5 gallon hole.

I added: 1 5 gallon bucket o native soil
1 5 gallon bucket of organic pro mix
1 5 gallon bucket of perlite
1 1/2 5 gallon buckets of organic humus and manure .05-.05-.05

Also, I was wanting to add some bone meal into this mix for my N. How much should I add?

that Fox farm open seasme is not Organic, that is a high powered synthetic fert.

Ic. No wonder it burnt my girls so bad. I was told it was organic and didn't second guess it. I will not be using that stuff anymore... What a jackwagon! What about the bone meal. How much should I use for this recipe or do I even need it?

Nothing but pure chemical salts in that stuff, it can definitely fry your micro-herd. Generally in organics you don't want to use anything with an NPK much higher than 10-10-10.

Fox Farm does make decent organic\all-natural dry plant foods with microbes. They are sold under "Peace of Mind" or Happy Frog".

Bone meal is generally used at a rate of 1-2 tbsp per gallon of mix. For outdoors 2 tbsp per gallon should do. What you really might need is some kelp, greensand, or something else to supply more potassium (such as sulfate of potash).
