Opinion Needed: Is it ever okay to sleep with a guy on the 1st date?

It depends...
I've had very serious relationships a couple times with girls who slept with me on the first date. We either struck it off perfectly and things just came together where we were almost instantly inseperable or in another case we started as friends with benefits and that grew into more.
If you're dating a mormon or jehova's witness that tactic might not work out so well and yes there are even normal guys (if you want to call them that) who wouldn't want a serious relatioship with someone that would sleep with someone on the first date as there are girls the same way.
Again it all depends on the person, more accurately both people. At least if that person and you don't match in bed you've only wasted one day rather than a long courtship.
Most of the time people know right away if they're going to end up in bed together anyway so playing some game to draw things out might not make sense.

don't think of it as right or wrong in a general sense you have to think of it as right or wrong for you
but that being said sometimes you just gotta go for it, nothing wrong with a one night stand
also you might find out he's just bad and save yourself the bad sex in the future

lol actually this is not my situation persay, its a friend of mine who went on a first date, and slept with this guy she really says she likes... anyways I said I thought it was a stupid thing to do, but thats just my opinion...
I'm under the impression that if you want a serious relationship with someone, sleeping w/ them on the first date is the wrong way to go about it.... but once again, thats my opinion.

I will admit I tend to think chicks who put out on the first date are kinda easy and that's a turn off for me, but hey that's me. Maybe I'm old fashioned this way.

I'm a man, so maybe my opinion is a bit different from yours, but I believe it depends on the circumstances. I personally would rather not have sex on the first date, its a little generic. At the same time, sometimes the whole night goes perfect.... and then things heat up a bit; to the point where there isnt much will to say no....
