OPTIMUM levels when using aero-cloner / EZ-cloner???

Hi fellow RIU's. I'm starting this thread because I have found some varying reports as to what are optimum levels when cloning in an aero/ez -cloner type of systems. I am interested in getting an overall consensus on optimum levels when specifically using an aero or ez-cloner for cloning. I would like to hear from people that can say what has worked best for them. I am new to cloning and the only info I have is what I read. Here are the parameters I am interested in, please tell me if what I have listed is incorrect.

Thanx!!:bigjoint:

A. RES. PARAMETERS

1. Water Temp:
75` optimal,70-80 as long as under 80` to prevent algae growth

2. Ph:
5.8-6.5, research says ph dosent matter really since theer are no roots yet

3. Nutes:
no nutes necessary since there are no roots to uptake nutes.

4. watering? cycle or 24/7:
research says 24/7 watering with well aerated water.

B. Enviormental Parameters

1. Air Temp:
72 optimal, 70` -79`acceptable? this is very questionable.

2. Humidity:
35-80%, research says humidity not a factor when using aero system.

3. Misting?
I believe it is unnecessary after first day or two of cutting.

4. Lighting?
Not much light is necessary untill roots, but definitely no hid lighting. I like 1 or 2 2' t5 about a foot away for 10-20 clones

Please reply with your thoughts on aero cloning. I am using a diy aero cloner made from a rubbermaid container, hydro pump, air pump, pvc, misters, and heater. I adjust to the above parameters, and use advanced nutrients juicy roots gel when cutting. Besides juicy roots cloning gel there are no other nutrients in the res. just plain water. I use 4 parts Reverse Osmosis water and 1 part tap water.

This is an interesting setup. I've never done anything like this before, so this is going to be one to watch.

good luck to you.

so, why did you choose this setup over others, if you don't mind my asking? Just for finding out what happens?
