I had posted a thread in the indoor growing section, thinking that the stipules might have been pistils. I got some second opinion replies and came to the conclusion of oranging or coloring stipules.
I'm on day 40 of Veg today, and 2 days away from 5 weeks. I've grown before and didn't have that happen prior to the calyx's/pistils showing. This is happening with both of my plants, from the same bagseed.
This is my first grow with CFL's, not sure if that matters or not.
PH: 7.5
Temp: 73-78 F
Humidity: Around 52% give or take.
Lights: 8 26 watt Daylight 6500k Cfl's, about 1,600 lumens per bulb.
Light schedule: 18/6
Soil: All purpose soil
So the question, what causes the stipules to orange prior to Calyx's showing? I've looked in the GrowFAQ and could not find the info I needed.
Is it because of the strain, or nute deficiency?
This is totally throwing me for a loop any help would be great, I tried to google it but came up with one post that was kind of similar but didn't get the information I needed.
Thanks again all
