Oregon Dispensaries old bud no head high!

Hi guys just moved to Oregon a month ago from Pennsylvania. I was really looking forward to moving to recreationally legal state! I even quit for 4 months so i could get blasted when I arrived in Oregon. I thought I could get fire bud way better than east coast bud. Anyway I was very dissapointed when i went over to 5 dispensaries and they all gave bud over a year old. Some buds looked absolutely amazing but when I smoked a bowl of it, it was completely missing the head high. All the weed a smoked gave the same effect. Some body high but absolutely no head high. When does marijuana start losing its psychoactive high? How many months is considered too old for dispensary bud? I know you can make it last for years under certain conditions, but I don't believe the dispensaries are keeping their bud in the proper conditions. This very frustrating and expensive. The only way I been dealing with it is asking the bud tenders what the harvest date is in the bud before I buy it. If its a year old I don't buy it. If your in the southern Oregon area please let me know what has happened to the bud quality in Oregon the last year? Oregon supposed to be one of the best spots for high quality buds in United States! I might well go back to smoking shitty Pennsylvanian bud if I cant figure out whats going on with Oregon bud. Luckily I plan on growing next year but thats a year from now.

Well what a bummer, but I'm sure the good stuff has to be around maybe a little more digging not ,from dispenseries though.

Oregon definitely has decent weed, they had a gluten last year and are probably still trying to sell the surplus. Best route to good weed is to grow your own. It's legal there, isn't it?

If you would have landed one more state up north of the equator you would be much happier. Sorry to hear that about my sister state. Got much love for OR, but I was born and raised here in Seattle WA. I love the northwest, and im sure you will find some better product. The problem with buying cannabis at this time of year sucks, because all the CA outdoor gets flooded onto the market. Yes, even the recreational markets. Good luck on your quest kind sir.
