oregon med users

Hi, I was wondering how you oregon med users got your card. Seeing as I think its really easy in portland apperently.

General Info: I'm near-ish to the Portland area. and i have some noticeable arthritis in the pointer finger in my dominant hand.

Google it and you will get a link to the oregon DHS web site. There you can print out the forms you need to fill out and get a Doctor to sign off on the forms. Also you will need copies of the last few years of medical records and you mail all the info in to the DHS along with a hundred and fifty or so dollars and if your approved you should receive your "credentials" in a few weeks.

I plan on going to get mine soon! I emailed the thc-foundation in Portland who help issue patients with permits. If your primary care doctor will not give you a recommendation the THC clinic in Portland will help. You just need to fax them your medical records which state a qualifying condition for medical marijuana in Oregon and they will call you if you are qualified. Then you can schedule an appointment where they will help you fill out the application and give you a doctor's recommendation.

I think the clinic charges $150 for their services and you have to pay $100 to the state for the application fee.

Cool the hundred is what i thought but its good to get all these numbers. i don't wanna go thru my Doc he is a pediatrician... lol

Cool man! Hey lemme know how that works out for you. I live in Salem and don't have my car up and running yet, and can't make a trip out to Portland very easily. I read a new clinic in Salem ran by Mercycenters.org just opened and I'm going to try to go through them when I get enough money together. I think the Mercycenters also organizes meet-ups and political marches/rallies to parade on the steps of the capital building if anybody is into the activism of marijuana politics.

wow cool, im just waiting for my records to get processed and sent so fingers crossed it goes well.

i hope they did! good luck with that and let me know how it all goes, if we both get it we should chill sometime!
