Not to split hairs, but personally, I'd call what you're making there a nutrient tea, not a compost tea - it's just a name, but foregrounds what you're doing - mainly supplementing nutrients as opposed to mainly building microbial populations

In any case, your plants very obviously loved it plus the method feels right for you, that's worth alot!!

cover crop would be like crimson clover or buckwheat grass on the top layer of soil. but that greenhouse is nice. killer first try even with help from a friend you naturally have the green thumb.
