Oregon outdoor 2023

Hey all. I noticed that there isn't a thread up this year so far. Thought I'd start one up. I only went with 2 plants this year, for stress ease. I have a gods breathe, and a ghost vapor OG.

To be honest, things have been great so far this season. No issues to report back. The GVOG showed first pistols on August 10th. The gods breathe showed first pistols on August 17th. I only topped each plant once this season, which isn't normal for me. Usually I go crazy on them.

I started giving lots of nutrients in mid July, mostly nitrogen heavy shit until pistols showed up. I have been giving weekly doses of flower nutes ever since. I'm rocking advanced nutrients again this year. Steady flow of the bloom/ b-52 and big bud ever since early August. As of this week I've cut out big bloom and started dropping the over drive on the GVOG.

The gods breathe is a bit behind on development. Guessing it's a slower flowering strain. The weather has been great in Portland up to this point. I have my rain structure up and protecting them for the the rains come in. I'm looking at another week of decent weather but then it'll change.

I think I'll be able to pull the first plant in early Oct most likely. No signs of worms yet, but I know they're coming. They always do! Both plants are around 9' tall. I had a hell of a time building my structure tall enough, with the space I have. But I overcame the issues and pushed through.

I hope you all are making out as well as I have so far. Just hoping for a strong finish.

Nice Plants!
My usual two have been unusually easy thanks to this PDX weather. No pest damage or PM so far. Getting color with the colder nights.
Fizzy Drank is stacking nicely.

Life Hack is behind with much more stretch, and I screwed up by not mending a broken limb early on, so the main stalk is not flowing as well, so lost some bulk in the circulatory pinch. Aspiring for a full cycle this year (mid october).

Cheers to yours!

Here comes the 'Atmospheric River'... a week of overcast/rain will be the test. Still have yet to figure out just how much outdoor UV the girls need toward the end, but determined to let them go farther this year, as I've been too skittish in the past.

2 more weeks to go until the first plant comes down. Got them both all watered up today. Keeping a nice flow of nutrients going which is working out nicely. Unfortunately it's all rain for the next week at least. No rot or signs of any worms yet so I'm pretty excited about that. I hope they can hold up to all the humidity.

All things aside, let's face it - pot is cheap these days - I still geek to the plant itself. That High Times slathering fanboy is still present. Such a beautiful plant. This time of year is way satisfying... (and somewhat stressful)

My plant's been weathering this rain for the last couple of days under the clear plastic raincover shown in the first pic - I gave it some plain water yesterday, but nothing today. I'll feed it tomorrow
My flowers are pretty bulked-up and just need a few sunny days- they just don't seem to want to ripen when it's raining and shit

I harvested over the last couple days - under cover, but just too damp & I pulled a bit of rot. Not that far off from 'perfect' and just little hope of a dry out. Two week hang in process! Cheers to yours.

Well with rain forecast for the next week I decided to cut my little chemdog plant yesterday
My trichs are all milky, but I couldn't really detect any amber- it's a week early, but should still be good
it's the stickiest weed I've grown, that's for sure
