Hey Folks, I use earth juice and aerate my own tea, after 36 hrs and I'm ready to feed my outdoor in the ground plants the ph is way low 4.3, I am looking for a natural way to raise the ph without buying grow store products, i.e. Like limes for lowering, I need a natural ph up, any suggestions?

Baking soda isn't recommended. It can cause a build up of sodium. Hydrated lime or hardwood ashes are safer.

Mix about 1/8 cup of ashes to a gallon of water. Apply to moist soil a few cups of solution at a time. Don't pour the whole gallon. Check the run off after application of the ash water. Next watering, check again. If it's still acidic. Add more.

Hydrated lime calls for a tablespoon per gallon. Use a teaspoon to a gallon of half a gallon. Apply the same as the ashes. A few cups at time. Check. Repeat if it stays acidic.

Using the stuff...you have to be careful. If you add too much lime. The soil will go alkaline. Causing even more issues. Get the amount close enough and the soil will test 6.5-7.0.
