Outdoor autos + breeding. in auto/fabric pots (with veggies)

Hi, not sure what ever happened with my first gro journal here but this is my second. Actually could be my third now that I think about it. If I posted my ~20 cfl light grow here, ~10 years ago, let’s not talk about it.

We are outdoors this time, auto flowers in auto pots and fabric pots, may try some other stuff as well. I have a mild shade cloth over top, to take the edge off on the really hot days for myself and the plants. The soil will have it’s own post as will the water, maybe later. Just water in the auto pots res though, maybe some silica, salts, who knows, they won’t be on for a month or so though I guess, I find it’s really nice to let them have a lot of roots for it.

At a couple days old in the auto pots we have pyramid seeds super hash and black skull seed’s pineapple gum and in the fabric pots we have black skull seed’s speed haze, royal queen’s seeds quick one, as well as some seeds I breed myself awhile back, no idea what they are but hoping autos. They are the older plants, say about a week and a half, in the center fabric pot.

Currently everything is feminized but I have ordered some reg seeds from attitude in hopes of getting some more seeds for free and hopefully some cool auto crosses.

Those are what I have coming to find males in, should be here in a week. I think they could make some cool crosses. I’m just slightly worried if I will get pollen in time but I’m pretty sure I should be fine.

trying to be mostly organic here, using up the tail end of various stuff though to get rid of it.

Started off with spider mites but I was expecting that so I will be pretty persistent with a light neem spray around my garden area and any plants not in flower to keep the flowering ones safe. I have a pretty good environment for them here so I don’t think I can ever stop preventive care. Will be growing jalapeños soon for a more mild approach, not really a fan of the smell of neem.

any question or comments are welcome. I’m not a great grower and people always mess with my grows, so, we will see how it goes.

Also growing some veggies along side some of the girls, to keep the peace.

Little update, nothing to eventful but just got the other seeds in today and got some of them soaking, till the morning, when I will put them in some one gallon pots. These are the seeds I am hoping to find males in so I can cross and make some more of the same seeds/get the pollen.

The stuff on the right (first pic), was the freebies. I may try to run some photos ~really late start, just so I can try and breed some of them. We’ll see, one grow at a time hopefully.

The spider mites are still here but I spray every evening now, shortly after the sun gets off the plants and once more a little later in the evening. Somewhat mild neem solution and mild spray now. So far, from I can tell, they have not damaged any plants since I first noticed them.

I need to make sure to wash off the neem in the morning, before the sun gets on the plants because I am getting some sore plants.

Tried the volcano approach for finding male seeds. Never done it before. Not sure if it’s really a thing but if it is I think 2 males of each, though not positive on the cheese, dropped some seeds and got frustrated haha, think we are good to go anyways. Started soak on whatever the day of this post is.

Little update on the grow. Some ups and downs but overall I believe think things are starting to head the right direction.

Still trying to get rid of the spider mites but they have yet to do any noticeable damage and can’t really get onto any plant. Also have earwigs floating but they mostly just chew on the radishes, which is fine with me.

Ended up messing up a lot of plants quick one, pineapple gum, ~3 lemon hazes though one seems like it should pull through and be able to be useful for breeding, and 2 others I can’t recall the name of. I believe my next to no organic nutes was still to strong for the autos, wont make that mistake again. May have been the neem too but I don’t think so anymore. Need to be careful with both though.

here’s a couple shots of the whole garden here. Amongst all this I also have some tobacco varieties going, in hopes of homegrown blunts.


Biggest girl at the moment is my personal unknown auto cross. Just started pistols a couple days ago, she looks like she is going to be really nice.


Pretty sure no spider mites in the photo and I’m about to give her, her final wash and neem spray, when the sun gets off her today. After rinse with water daily till crystals start coming in.

Started tha shiznet 2 weeks ago, narco purps 1 week ago, some lemon haze ( to replace the ones I messed up, for breeding), one is in a 15 gal pot, the other is in an auto pot. They are in the first photo.

got some more seeds in the germination process and a using a new germination method, that is working out really great, for all my seeds so far.


put them in a little tray with moist paper towel and put them in almost air tight container, cover in towels and wait a few days. Everything loves it except my setevia plants, which I’m not sure is just bad seeds. All cannabis seeds so far, 3 days to 1/4” tap root and they break surface 2-3 days later, no helmet heads, which I have a lot of before.

got Pineapple Express, gorilla glue, strawberry something, cod something and grizzly purple gemranating now.

also upped my seed collection a little bit, just because I don’t want to not be able to get some and stock seems low. If anyone knows any seeds bank that takes debit and ships to u s and regular seeds, please let me know.

Update on my grow, things seem to be good. Lost some plants but I had extra seeds of some of them and I have gotten them set up so the will be safe until they are big enough to not get eaten to the point they are no good overnight.

got 5000 live neoseilus califoricus (spider mite predators), and haven’t sprayed any neem for a couple weeks, with no mites going crazy that I can see, should probably spray something biweekly or something.

Here is another attempt at a gorilla glue, strawberry gum, grizzly purps and quick one. The grizzly seems to maybe been to wet or something. Just coco in pots I can tear or plant straight to the soil once they want it. 14 hours direct sunlight since they are mobile.

Narco purps, going to pollenate lower sites with ez cheese when I can get more pollen, she has already gone into flower and the first plant that has had a ~really good start for me this season. Getting slight purpling on some of the branches also, super stubby leaves, more so than anything I’ve grow before.

Finally got a CBd plant going, off to a good start, Fast eddy, by royal queen seeds

Got some more beds made, seeded with cover crop and fertilized. Hoping still to put some plants in the ground, everything else seems to be liking it. Ph on the soil is a little over 7, I’m trying to drop it a bit but with sulfur but that will take a while.

ordered some more seeds again and again and again, will share what I got when the last order arrives.

Update on the plants.

my cross (back), started to bring her inside to get her into flower fully and gave her a big drink yesterday after longer thanI can recall without one. Also there is the narco purps (left), And fast eddy cbd in the middle

here is the super hash, actually seems to be pretty done on the top 3/4 but the bottom could go longer. Either way, gave it its first watering in a long time to see if she will do anything else, if not probably cut the finished parts off and the lower parts I hopefully pollinated to go longer. Looks like it might yield
an eighth. Lol



G13 Pineapple Express 2 and dinafem fruit just in coco, put them in soil yesterday, I think they want nutes


I am using a organic starter fertilizer now in the coco, so I won’t have to worry about feeding them before putting them in the ground or container. Seems like it’s alright but it seems like they could be more happy. I think the sun is pretty strong.



also I am putting the seedling in my grow cabinet in the evenings with a single high quality 100 watt blue led, somaybe I can get a auto over a foot tall.
