Outdoor, Flower questions

Hey guys

I germinated my 3 plant crop on march 23rd and am using fox farm nutes. The veg period went very well, one plant is almost as tall as me and the other two pretty close to it. I then realized as the time continued that the 12/12 cycle would need to be forced, this is where i have questions.

I started putting the plants in my shed after dark (8pm) and out again at 8am. I did this everyday for the last two weeks and have good flowers starting, my problem is I live in new england and it will start getting cold by oct 1 for sure, its unusually cold as it is! This gives me only 40 days left of flower, the light cycle still hasnt quite reached 12/12.

Will I be ok? Will these buds bloom and fill out in such a short 40 (if im lucky) day flowering period.

Do I have to continue putting them in my shed at night to make the 12/12 cycle or has flowering been initiated enough that they can stay outside?

you may have to go a bit into October, but you should be okay, they can handle a fair bit of cold (the shed at night will help keep any frost off her)

You don't have to continue with the dark room once they have established the flowers but I personally continue to move mine into the dark

BTW, I only give her about 10 hours of darkness, that was enough to trip it.

If you get decent morning sun, (before 8 am) I would bring her out early to enjoy the extra sun

Yeah, outdoors it isn't necessary for the light to be 12/12, it only matters that the days are getting shorter. My girls outdoors started blooming a week or two after the solstice when we still had 14+ hours a day of sunlight. My gut says they would be just fine outdoors. Good lookin girls by the way!

A couple extra daylight hours are ok on either end after you have established flowering. She will grow quicker but too much can revert to veg.
