I've been a revisiting guest at RIU for years and finally made an account. I'm starting a journal just for something to do. Any comments are welcome.
*Please excuse my poor writting skills*
Grow info:
Germ'd on finely broken up rapid rooter plugs in a humidity container at about 75F. All seeds but one g13 cracked within 32hrs. I put the seeds into rapid-rooters and then 4" pots with promix.
In ground soil is a mix of promix, chicken manure, organic top soil, and extra perlite mixed and backfilled with 1/3 of the native dirt from the holes. Also bought bloodmeal to amend the top layer of dirt around each plant durin veg.
Seeds - 10 each of Super Silver Haze, G13, White Widow Skunk - Remaining* 8 SSH, 3 WWS, 3 G13
5 unknown seeds(included with order for free..last time it was labeled Afgan but this time nothing was written on the bag...I'm just going to call them Afghan)
Sex - 2 WWS fems(flowered early...brought both home to reveg.. they would have finished if left where they were) 1 male, G13 1 male(two unknown clones taken as salvage from plants dug up by vermin..hope one is female), SSH 1 showed fem' preflowers early on but are not visable now- so I have at least one I had 2 fems from the Afghan and cloned both. I ended up with 8 afghan clones for me and gave a bunch away.
Unknown clones maybe Afghan
Rooted clones(mostly in the back) and seed plants. The two large clones were two afghan cuttings taken a few weeks earlier than the rest.
Clones after a few cold days
Flowering WWS(pulled+brought home - under 24hr lighting)
Unknowns(Afghan)
SSH
I don't know why the WWS flowered like that. They were with all the other plants at all times, receiving the same amount of light...
Two tops from g13s are in a clone box together with a top from a SSH that broke off. Gonna root and sex them. I'll take cuttings from all the SSH and sex them - removing males.
The plants look a little rough.. I've not fed them yet and they were in the 4" pots way too long.. They also sat next to tall grass inviting all the slimy forest creatures to play on them. They will start to get color back and explode in no time *crosses fingers.....
Any suggestions on cross breeding?... thinking I would like to cross the best fem SSH with either of the g13 or WWS males I have.
Tis all for now.
Time to blaze up and watch some scifi
~peace~
