Outdoor grow help -night

I am new to this and will start myfirst plant soon.
I’m going to grow it outdoors and would like to know if the plant would need complete darknes in the veg stat or just leave it outside through the night. I know it would need complete darkness in flowering (12/12) but would like to know in its veg stage.

It depends on how cold it gets at night. You don't want it under 65 ideally. But start by hardening your plants , a few hours every day outside to get used to the transition. I do that for about a week extending the time more daily. The night will have no negative effect on your girls until the light cycle starts to change outside. Your fine man don't think so much my friend.

You want to have at least 3 nodes before going outside, thats my preference. As soon as the seed sprouts I leave it under 24 ht lighting for 2 weeks. Then I go 18 on 6 off. No nutes until the original leaves that come out of the shell turn yellow. Harden them daily, then when you are ready to put them outside let natures kiss do the rest. You.just maintain her and make her as comfortable as possible

Tampa Fl- So i planted on 1/1/21,with auto feminized seeds, and had numerous nights in 50-60 * range. They seem to be doing fine. Even tonight supposed to be in 60’s ...

Im not sure what you mean by complete darkness..no inner city or suburban outdoor grow gets complete darkness. Indoor grows receive complete darkness, outdoors you have the moon, stars and street lights. They'll be fine with natures darkness level long as your night temps are above 50' you'll be fine. To veg you'll need 15 hrs daylight with if possible min 8hrs direct sunlight and 7 indirect (shaded light). So be sure to put your plants in the area of your yard that receives the most sunlight.

For sunlight I have no problem as it will get more than 10hours straight sunlight , my concern is that once it is ready from veg state it would need 12hours of sunlight and 12hours of darkness

Let nature do its thing brother. Towards the fall no matter where your at you are starting to get less day light, your plants will throw themselves into flower naturally. and hell no! I wouldn't put.my girls outside in 50's. Just because they survive doesn't mean they thrive. Thats my experience.

buttery hash is right though, you want southeast exposure. So the sun rises on your plant and gets the most out of the sun all day.

Low 60s isn't ideal but isn't terrible (again thid is just my experience im not trying to argue), still being around 40s at night here in Massachusetts im looking to plant in late may or June.

Okay so can we induce flowering ourselves if we grow it outdoors. What if I give my plant 12 hours of direct sunight+3 hours through a low watt LED and then give it 12 hours sunlight and just leave it inside my house in the darkness for 12 hours? Will that make my plant start flowering?

If you're talking about inducing flowering during summer daylight that are above 14hrs then you'd bring it indoors at night and put it in a dark room...then you wouldn't bring it back outside until the exposure would be 12/12...pain in the butt, but thats how you induce flowering in a photoperiod while growing outdoors...or u get a polytunnel you can blackout.

yeah it sounds like a pain in the ass but it sounds like the only good option rather than wait an additional month or two. Is there any issue that can arise if I do it this way? I get strong 9-10 hours of direct sunlight above 35C

It's a tough thing your trying to do. A lot of work. Could stress your plant out and make it go hermie if your light schedule isn't consistent..and physically bringing it in isn't going to be perfect timing everyday..its like when someone throws it outdoor too early before you have longer days...it thinks it wants to flower...then when the days get longer it confuses her and they tend to hermie. Careful
