Outdoor grow plant support

This is for all those who grow outdoors and also top their plants, maybe once, twice or more. Topping is great, makes the Christmas tree into a much lower bush, if all goes right. However, you must remember that every topping produces a wye that is not as strong as the original tree shape. Accordingly, it is necessary to provide support for these weak junctions.....if you do not, beware the thunderstorms and their down bursts as they will demolish the plant. So, here's the deal....if you grow outside and want those big fat bushy plants you see photos of in these threads, be prepared to spend a lot of time setting support stakes and tieing up each of those wyes and, very often, the heavy buds as well. If you don't, you will become expert at mending fractures caused by Mother Nature. If you can't spend that much time doing these things, just leave the plant alone to assume its natural Christmas tree shape. My garden usually looks more like a bamboo grove than a grow and I can't seem to get that nice bushy shape without a lot of support. I'm looking for a method of support that does not require me to be out there every couple of days pounding stakes and tying off. Does anyone have a better way to deal with this problem???

I dont get bud rot or mould where I am so I tend to just bend the fuckers down and tie branches of in all sorts of directions not the best method I know but it can keep a 8 ft plant 2 feet high and spread eagled like a working class girl who is happy

My bamboo failed me on a few plants last season (too fat). So this year I went with 4 foot wire circle cages anchored to the ground with 5 foot wood stakes. This keeps the rings in place when wind gust rip thru. I also add layers of trellis netting as needed. Good luck on the big girls :)
Was it 8' 10 or 12'? failed in one season of use? sheeeeeeet..

I actually had this one last season in the ground itself and I never topped it or anything as it was a sativa I just wanted to see it tied down and spread out cos I know the height they can reach so it was a bit of an experiment for me ..... I did split the main stem at one stage tho and had to tape it up

I
A local bamboo grower claims the stuff I used was only river-reed bamboo ( or some shit). It has worked great for me until last season when we got some serious winds and my fat plants broke uprights. Some of my plants maxed out over 6lbs and were 8'+ wide by 6' tall.
Was it 8' 10 or 12'? failed in one season of use? sheeeeeeet..
I think garden boss is the guy we should be learning from not me senorbw man I wish I could just have one plant like he has australia is so stupid whrn it comes to laws of the weed kind

Fresno farmer. .....really like the photo....after reading all this response, thanx, everybody....I'm going with the trellis, ordered it today.....I can't believe I have spent this much time doing dumb stuff.....I have, however, gained a lot of experience in driving stakes and tying plastic tape,( for what's that's worth)
