outdoor grow question.

I live in the bay area and have an outdoor crop going since early june. The plants started from clones and are healthy and growing fast. weather hasnt been very stable as most know. weve had some over cast days and cold nights. I noticed a few days ago most of the plants have some flowers starting to grow. I have read about pre-flowering but i dont know how to tell the difference between flowering and pre-flowering. I though it was early for flowering? I hear different things. some say that overcast days dont effect the plant and others say it does.

Are my plants pre-flowering or flowering? And what caused this? Should i go to a super bloom fertilizer now?

bay area as in New England? or some other bay in some other state..

because from what i have herd from other growers in the new england area is that preflowers should be showing now. personaly i have preflowers but they are very small almost undistinguishable (if thats a word, looks kinda long..)
