I have been growing ladies for many years and have read many things and learned many things on this site. Now, this is going to sound like a noobie question. I keep hearing from indoor growers oh I had a small light leak and they went back into veg, or they didn't flower when I switched the cycles, it was a light leak. To me that just doesn't make sense. I grow outside and have never grown inside outside of cloning my babie or germing some seeds. Outside we get lots of light at night, full moons, car lights, star light you name it. When I force flower containers I simply put them in a pretty dark place in the shed in the afternoon...never stopped my plants from going into flower. Please "shed some light" on this indoor oddity...Thanks to all that respond.:joint::mrgreen:

It is without merit and a simple indoor growers urban legend.

Indoor growers have the ability to be in complete control of every aspect of the grow, and as a result, are involved in every possible aspect of the grow.

They forget the plant is a weed and it will grow everywhere, without any help. I would say most plants die from over care rather than under care.

Long post short, indoor growers are like parents who don't let their kids watch tv.

How long do outdoor grows take?
I would think light leak to be somewhat legit since from what I have read, indoor grows are accelerated, the plant is going faster than usual.

wrong. The flowering time of a plant is strain dependant, i.e. sativas longer, indica's shorter. The vegging time is what indoor growers shorten.

I can tell you with absolute certainty that light leaks will not affect flowering unless the light is consistent and bright enough to register. The moon is 300 lumens, comparable to a 35 watt light bulb, if your leaks are brighter than that, you're not trying anyways.
