hey guys i just checked on my outdoor plants and they were burnt and wilted pretty bad, obviously they didnt have enough water cus they wilted but my question is with the temperature being about 107 degrees yesterday and 100 today should i move the plants out of the sun and in the shade? will the plants still have gotten burned if they had been watered?

Indirect sunlight is best when temps are that hot. So putting the plants under a large tree is a great idea. When the wind blows the sun will shine on the plant and cool it down, and when the breeze stops the plant will be covered by shade

I have over 20 7-10ft bushes right now in N. Califonia and its been over a 100deg on and off, today it was 106 and my plants seem to love it, never have any problems burning or wilting. They are in the ground, huge 4ft deep pits that are watered about every 7-9days and I basicly flood the pits and they can go a couple weeks without water before they show any droopiness or signs of needing water, and there 6 different strains, so just in my personal area I dont have any problems with the 100 plus deg weather but if you have them in big pots or something I suppose the could heat up the medium and roots to cause problems, Im not sure, Ive never grown outdoor plants in pots/bags of any kind.

LOL, we must be almost neighbors, it was 107 here today at 3:30.
I took some shots during the heat to show how they can handle it.
Just not a problem here. Good luck & good grow.......BB

the temperature(sun) will not burn your plants, they love that shit, watch out what or how much your feeding your girls cause thats more than likely the culprit if your getting burn spots outside. Peace....

i know indoor and outdoor are totally different, but thanks to mother nature i was unable to obtain any cool air to cool my closet and it was about 103 for most of the past 3 days. my seedlings are less than 2 weeks old and in very tiny pots and they pulled through like champs, and the air wasn't exactly fresh. pot plants are badass.
