A few times, over the last 24 years, I've been force feeding myself joints because it was nearly time to catch the boat back from Holland to England and, obviously, I've bought far more cannabis that can be smoke in a weekend (or a fucking MONTH of SUNDAYS) and I don't want to waste it.
Then I've had a wonderful idea about how to get rid of my last few Guilders (Euro's the last few times).
"I'll buy some outdoor seeds - Durban is as far from the Equator as Leeds. It will be fantastic!'.
Then it's early Spring, back in gloriously grey and overcast Yorkshire. I start the seeds and half of the eight crack open (the other four do nothing). I transplant them into rockwool cubes and three start to show some strong growth. A week later two are doing well but one has mysteriously died off.
Then I get them to about 16-18inches, under CFL's and I prepare two places outside and transplant them to the great outdoors.
After a shaky start they both seem to be doing well. Then, after weeks of sneaking through woods (like Bear Grylls) and smuggling water and nutrients to them - they both turn out to be males.
And that was the nearest to success I ever came with outdoor plants in England.
