Outdoor Growing

This is my first time growing, and I'm doing it outdoors. At first, my plants were getting eaten but I've fixed that problem by putting hard, clear plastic boxes over my plants. Right now, I have one plant that is growing well, but i think it's too small. I've looked at people's pictures of their plants that are 1.5 weeks old, and they're way bigger than my 3 week old. I've also noticed that these bigger plants were grown indoors. Right now my plant has the round leaves that it has to begin with, 2 big piked leaves, 2 smaller spiked leaves (about half the length of the big spiked leaves), and 4 even smaller spiked leaves (just coming in). I'm not sure of the exact height of the plant, but I'd say its almost 3 inches. Is my plant growing normal for an outdoor plant? What can I do to improve?

1, wat was eating ur plants ? 2, maybe u should remove them boxer and try put up a fence and if its rats and shit keep them boxes on there for a while and put out some rat bait let them eat it wait for a few days ( takes that long to kill the lil bitches) then remove the boxes and see what happens for there
