Hey all. New to the forum however, not my first crop although, this is a different animal than I’m used to. Without giving my life story this is my conundrum. This season my grow space was inhibited though my hunger to garden wasn’t. I started a few plants outdoor (in western Canada). But for fear of being burdened by cold and mold, I wasn’t waiting for Mother Nature to flip these puppies, as our winters would most definitely spoil everything. 7 weeks ago today, I started bringing the potted plants into my shop and ensured a 12/12 schedule. Strategic planning would put my harvest into mid to late October. As an unseasoned outdoor grower -with a strain i have no concrete info on. I have had a feed, feed, water schedule with plants seeing liquid every second day. Ambient temps of around 24-18c My last feed was just water. We have seen a shift in weather and temps have plummeted to below 12c-4c nightly and maybe 10-15c daily and sun is scarce. My soil has yet to dry, pots are heavy, plants not looking as fresh as always. With the help of good circulation and construction heaters in the shop at night I’ve managed to aid in a couple of the pots drying up a bit with others on the way. With sun being unavailable I dug out some of my lights an old blurple led and 3 t5 cfl and set up impromptu lights in the shop. Temps between 17-9 degrees inside. This week is when I’m due to add my densifiers which, with this nutrient line is the last week of feed and supposed to be a gnarly finisher. I also prefer a 2 week flush. Info on my strain says 8 week flower. If it was warm I would feed it and in two days start my flush and push a bit past 8 weeks and clip. Do I risk feeding one more time and wait an entire week to start the flush, putting the plants further into the cold and potentially have to clip a week early due to plants dying? or just say f**k it and continue watering and ensure I get what is there and it’s flushed well. I’ve never braved the cold before and I know all strains are different. I’m looking at 95% clouded trich’s And the odd clear and some amber ones. Just looking for a brainstorm. Thanks for listening. Pics below. Still need 2 weeks imo. To feed or not to feed
