Outdoor medium mix ratio

so i think ima use 3.0cf peat moss, 2.0cf compost, 0.25cf perlite. in mesh wire lined holes. plus blood meal,and earthworm castings. sound good or what? i want to try something different. Any thoughts?

i like to think if it ain't broke don't fix it .
