Over watered A LOT on accident

I was concerned about the PH in my water as my plants started to show signs of magnesium deficiency, so I took my pump off of my timer so I could changed the PH. (was 5.0, now it is 6.5). I am growing in 3 gallon bags of soil.

So I fixed the ph, but forgot to turn my pump off and instead of watering for 10 minutes, I watered for 2 hours. Should I be concerned about ppm? What about the past week of watering my poor plants at a ph of 5. Do you think by accidentally over watering the plants with 6.5 I flushed the 5 ph out of the soil? Possibility of nute burn?

I'm a newb so any help is appreciated. Thanks

was the runoff substantial?
are your nutes in the soil or water or both?
If your in flowering: don't water until the top becomes crusty dry. Then use pure water when watering the next time and calculate your pH and ppm cause you probably fucked up the soil somewhat.
If your in veg and your plants are more mature: consider repotting. You could easily get root rot if the water clings to the soil and doesn't aerate.

Hope this helps :)!

You should be fine though. Just raise the bags and make sure most of the water runs out. What u want to avoid is soggy soil.

I have this setup in soil(3 gallon bags) with my nutes in reservoir under plants. Pump feeds soil once a day for 10 minutes. My plants are in flowering mode and look beautiful, minus the magnesium deficiency.

The bags sit in a tray that is setup for drainage into the reservoir. I had a lot of drainage back into res once I caught my mistake.

hey man, you may have flushed some salt build out of your soil that had built up from weeks of feeding, so you may want fresh reservoir water...just a thought. Also, make sure you soil dries almost all of the way out before feeding them again. You can get an idea of what ph your soil is by collecting and testing the ph of the runoff water.
