Overkill?

I have been researching and reading lots of books and blogs and I have some plans put together for a grow room.It will be a 5'x5'x72" room,6-DWC,one 1000 watt lumatek with Digilux hps and one 600 watt lumatek ballast with a digilux m.h.Each light will be cooled with their own fan.It will also be pumped with co2.I want the dual spectrum benefits, but don't know if it is worth the extra operating cost and investment.Wondering what everyone thinks maybe you can give a newbie some good advice. Thanks

Do you think I would see any benefits in the way of density, quality, and increased yeild with both h.p.s. and m.h? I have read about dual spectrum bulbs and their benfits but also there cons of less penetration. That would be the same concept but in bigger doses, I guess.

Dankforest: have you thought about the possibility of a growing tent? Recently I've been looking at them and they seem to be only limited by the size of your pocket book. They range in size from tiny to huge! I'm looking at one that's 6'X6'X6' and with a filter and a fan you have a totally self contained growing environment that's sealed off from the rest of your home and prying eyes. You can use what ever kinds of lighting you want.

I'm using a grow tent. It fits perfectly in a closet and can be closed off when needed. Its very convenient and light tight. I'd highly recommend. I'm only growing 4. 3 are fem and one is my practice bag seed. Worms way is a good site.
