Overwatered?

Hi all currently have this 14 day watermelon skittles in light mix and using living soil organics. She was in a smaller pot to start seedling and today I noticed she was looking over watered but pot felt light, so I took her out the pot and her roots had gone wild so I moved up pot size. Could the drooping be because she needed a bigger pot?

Yes, it's called root bound.
