Overwatering Seedling questions/tips/what to expect?

I have a couple babies that were over watered as seedling and now I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions or what to expects? Any success stories?

I have 3 I made a rookie mistake on and as such theyre looking rough. They’re yellow and droopy but definitely not dead.

Has anyone had this happened and gone on to have healthy successful plants? Does it just take a week or two for them to bounce back once dried out and back to proper watering? Am I wasting my time nursing them back?

Thanks!!

Just leave them alone for a bit and chances are they'll recover--soil just needs to dry out. You have good drainage in the nursery pot? What sort of soil are they in?

I've never had any turn yellow myself but have certainly overwatered seedlings on occasion. They've always bounced right back. How long were yours being overwatered? Did you see them drooping and then mistakenly guessed they wanted more water?

so when I say it’s a rookie mistake it really really was. There was no humidifier or anything in the tent so not thinking about the holes in the seedling pots water was poured into the tray/dome to increase humidity a bit. As they’re not with me I didn’t see them daily and didn’t realize that the soil was taking all the water up and drowning the roots.
They’re pretty stunted right now, droopy, not looking healthy and the little growth it does have is super super slow.
I’m just wondering how long, if at all, they’ll take to bounce back? Looking to see if anyone’s had experience in this mess up. They’re still standing upright so they’re definitely alive. Wondering if this is like some of my clones that sat dormant for weeks and then all of a sudden just took off

Thing is you recognised your mistake and you are dealing with it and getting good advice.

If they aren't autos then you have all the time in the world to let them recover. Let them dry out before the next water/feed and go from there. GL
Thanks for the insight. Hoping it just takes a week or two to allow them to recover, soil to dry out, and new roots to form. Not in a rush for time thats for sure. Just curious on if this type of delay is normal/to be expected

they shouldent take too long to recover, there hardy weeds, so no harm done, just be warned that the nutes will have to be replaced b4 they would usualy need to be replenished as they will have been washed out of the soil.
it wont take too long for them top recover. no harm no foul, ive done it plenty of times when my minds not on the job, so your not the first and wont be the last
