Ozone generators to reduce smell? Anyone use them?

Timing switch to reduce exposure? How dangerous are they and how effective?
You don't want the ozone in the grow room but in your exhaust stream. It takes time for the ozone to react with the odor molecules and neutralize both so you need about 30'/10m of tubing with the ozone generator at the far end. Too much ozone in the grow room can severely damage your plants and your lungs.

I have an ozone generator just like the one in your link MMJ and plan to set it up once my current crop is done and I can rearrange things in the grow room and have all that 6" tubing tucked up in the corners running around the ceiling so it's not in the way.

Forgot to mention that it will be plugged in to my exhaust fan controller so it will only come on when the fan does.

used the Silver Bullet 15 years ago (Uvonair) but man that shits not right. If you have it in your room you can literally feel the difference in the air, had trouble breathing with my asthma. Inline would work but for the money you could do an carbon filter and fan.

Thanks to all the homies for good advice. . I prefer charcoal filter, which I have. I was wondering if adding ozone but looks to dangerous.

i had an ozone generator for over a year,, and if you breath too much of it you will cough for hours,, stuff is bad on the lungs,, be careful
That's a way too powerful output of O3 in your room then, mine did not do that damage, try a smaller model.

Isn't that kind of like saying you should cut back on smoking when not smoking at all is the better option? Breathing any ozone is harmful but if it's just in your exhaust stream then there is no problem and it is very effective for odor control.

Ona gel is an odorant as in it puts out enough stink of it's own to cover the smell of the pot.

Love Trainspotting. Makes me want to shoot up some smack tho. :)

Anything that's 1000X better than the best orgasm I've ever had had got to be worth trying.

I had 2x 7.5g/h generators (ebay ones - plate + power supply) on always on mod in always on exhaust (after carbon filter)
Te be honest without them carbon filter captured about 80% smell with them about 90% (smell killed) but you can smell ozone on the exhaust (the exhaust duct is about 15m long).

I saw one review of Ona Gel and the guy said leave it outside the grow room or you flowers will taste like Ona. Is this true? Thanks. There is also a Ona Breeze or fan you can put on top.
