Introduction
Hey guys, I'm P10p (Pronounced Plop, not P one zero p ahaha) I'm new to posting but as most new people, I have been lurking here for some time. I'm going to be growing a Pure Afghani plant (Just got her second set of true leaves) and a Lowryder #2 (waiting to be germinated)
Grow History
Grow #1- Bagseed
Well, I basically just tossed some bagseed in some dirt and that was that haha. It didn't make it to flowering. I planted it while I was waiting for a pack of Lowryder #2's to be delivered and just wanted a practice run.
Grow #2- Lowryder #2
This grow was going good until about 2-3 weeks in. She was a little stout, bushy, deep green beauty. I'm not too sure what happened. I think it was the ph of my water that lead to her eventual death. It started with the lower fan leaves and just worked its way up the plant. I tried a water/epson salt feeding because I thought it was a magnesium problem. If only i knew it was something as simple as Ph =(
Grow #3- 1x Pure Afghani, 1x Lowryder #2
This is my third but nowhere near my final attempt. The pure afghani was planted at least a week earlier then the lowryder. Reason being, I only currently have the room to facilitate one plant until my grow tent arrives (Its on its way now) Both Plants are starting in MG potting soil. When they're ready they will be transplanted into either MG (Already have, convenient), Scotts Soil (Easy to pick up at a local store) , or Foxfarm (Would have to order online) suggestions?
Daily Log
December 15th, 2010- Well, today is obv the first day of my log. Not much to say. The pure afghani is sitting under 2x 43w 2700k cfls and 4x 23w 6500k cfls for veg. Will eventually switch to 2x 43w 2700k cfls, 2x 23w 2700k, and 2x 23w 6500k cfls. Thats a total of 178w for both veg and flower. Chances are i'll be adding more as I go and likely will eventually add a 400-600w hps, but thats for a future update. I might germinate the Lowryder #2 tonight not too sure. My grow tent should be here within the next week. Its a 3x3x6 i picked up on ebay for about 70-80$ plus shipping. That should solve my growing space dilemma as currently I'm growing inside a nightstand about 1 1/2' square lol. Just a quick question before I end this entry, I've been adding vinegar to my water as a Ph adjuster, is it okay to be using that method the whole grow or will the vinegar eventually cause a problem down the road, its really not that much so I'm pretty positive it won't do anything but I figured I'd ask the pros. December 16th, 2010- Hey, not much going on, second set of leaves are comming in nicely lol. I went to Home Depot and tried getting a Y adapter, unfortunately they were outta stock so I bought a few different adapters and rigged it up so i can have 3 sockets running from one standard wall plug. My light count is up a bit. I not have 2x 43w 2700k cfls and 6x 23w 6500k cfls. I have enough gear to rig up 3 more cfls but i don't have the space until my grow tent gets here.
