Hi guys. Sadly my grandma has fallen ill and has been told she's most likely got pancreatic cancer, so i want to get cannabinoids in her ASAP. Her condition makes it near impossible for her to absorb fats so butters and oils are a big no.
I've read about cannaflour, but it just seems like a waste of herb without adding fat. I've also read about vegetable glycerin and that sounds promising, but I prefer the thought of a slow release lump of cannabinoids, deep inside her digestive system, near the affected area like you'd get with oil edibles. I've been reading about lecithin and how it helps you absorb oils by emulsifying them.
Now I don't want to use cooking fats/oils as she can't process them, but as I understand it cannabinoids are oils... So I was hoping that if l cook something with lecithin and no fat, it would bind to the cannabinoids and increase their bioavailability.
Do you think this could work? What do you think the bioavailability would be like compared to butters? Do you have any other ideas/advice?
Your response is eternally appreciated!
