papaya, anyone ever grown it?

just ordered some papaya from nirvana because of its dense flowers, fast maturing, and short growth characteristics. Suppose to be a strong lethargic indica..

If anyone has grown papaya before how was it?

i had vary nice large bud the only thing is stems had hard time holding the bud's up, they were big, so when you veg papa use a osculating fan on them and move them so the stems get stronger, good female to male 7 female to 3 male long flower time but i tend to let flower longer to get better bud i had some ak 47 auto going at same time so i pollinated papa with the ak 47 autos, my ak47 run about 16'' 22'' the papa ak cross are 24'' to 40'' still unstable as far as auto, 2nd run 70% auto next is to cross back how ever back to your ? i like the papa i think you will be happy to i ran the papa in bubbler not soil the ak47 papa cross are in soil.

don't veg the papa to long, in 12/12 you will get 16'' to 26'' taller in veg i was not to happy in don't think i was going to get any yield my grow area is small so allso who want's to waste 4 months my first grow 4 plants looking good turn 12/12 i got all males ! dud i was so pissed, i am a diabetic, i feel like shit most of the time, when i got sick i did no know i had diabetes i lost 70 pounds 6 to 7weeks so finally was to the er room at the hospital my sugar level was 690 they told me if i waited 1 more week would have died it causes nerve damage, my feet, hands and legs hurt 24 / 7 weed helps the pain and keeps my sugar level down so getting a good yield was or males was not a good thing, however in 12/12 the papas turned on and made me vary happy.

wow dude thats crucial, thank god for mj and good luck with the diabetes.. keep toking. thanks for more input + rep for the help. How much weight did papaya average dry (per plant)? I usually have height issues thats why I LST and the taller they get the tighter I pull the string to keep a even canopy. I have been thinking about SCOGing but I feel like the net would be in my way. Did you do any advanced growing techniques? You should have just spent the extra $ and got the feminized to help ensure females imo like you said wouldnt wanna spent all the time money and effort for males..

the papa would be grate for scog and fiming or topping mine got out of control 6' and they spared out as the bud started getting big 2oz dry and up per depending on how long you veg have you tryed any autos yet.

not much for autos because I like cloning and seeds are kinda expensive. but 2oz thats pretty good what medium did you use? I am guessing outdoor.. 6'!?

How did your papaya turn out ?

The papaya I grew is in my Avatar. The best pheno I grew was pretty high yielding, very low leaf, nice frosty buds. I cut at 55 days and its EXTREMELY potent, very lethargic knocks me the hell out.
Its a good strain.
