Passive Air Intake?

I am trying to get better air circulation in a 2X2.5 grow tent. I have a box fan blowing air into the tents mesh rear intake. Have not set up an inline fan, carbon filter or ducting. I have another fan inside for circulation, and a top vent hole open for exhaust. Temp is 80-82 with lights on, seems high. Should I hook up a 170cfm 4" fan and exhaust it out of the tent, and lose the box fan ouside the tent?

You should always be blowing air out of the tent.

Blowing cool air into the passive intakes is fine. In fact, it's what I need to do when the temps in the rest of my apartment get too high (I blow air at the passive intake, and it pulls air from an open exterior door nearby).

Forcing air out from the top of the tent will naturally expel the hot air, and suck cool air in from the bottom.
