I used to drive those several years ago. they are a lot of fun and if you like model engines then you will love it. just be warned they are very very messy and very very finnicky to get the engine running just right. also takes a whole lot of equipment to get it running, soon you will have a toolbox just for the car.

I eventually stopped b/c of the grime, it was hard to clean your hands and get all the oil grime from your nails, I always looked like I had been digging through the trash, even after a shower my nails would still be filthy.

Have you considered electric r/c planes and helicopters? you should check out some videos of T-Rex 700 on youtube. it will blow you away. r/c helicopters are amazing, the blades are so loud and oh my god when you slam on the collective its the loudest blade phasing you will have ever heard, it's awesome.

i used to have a traxxas nitro rustler. theyre alot of fun but like said above.. a big mess, and alot of work. if you dont like buying parts all the time and going to the hobby shop all the time then get an electric

How long does electrict run for like an hour? More? Less. I like working with my hands and stuff like that. I might also consider racing them but for now just gonna run it behind the house n by some fields.

Hours of fun ...although I would feel a little self-conscious in case some hot chick saw me playing with a toy.

LOL

Hmm I know breaking in the engine takes some time and one of the most important things to do. But will see when I go tomorrow I cant wait.

i have 6 nitro cars and trucks and love them. one i have over 4k in and it flies with the supercharger on it. but by far my favorite is the traxxas revo. this thing seems to be indestructable, fast as hell and so easy to start and run. the key to nitro is the breakin period, do not rush this step aand follow instructions. another plus to traxxas is the availabilty of tons of oe and aftermarket parts and upgrades.

I have been seeing that. I wanna either get a buggy or truggy. Idk bout 4k in mine maybe a few hundred but I have some good land for these and I wanna fuck around with them. Help pass time as I wait for my babies to finish.

I was young when I had mine so I was too impatient for the break-in time and all the tinkering. It's funny this thread is up, I almost went a bought another one last paycheck (last Friday).

I had a Traxxas Nitro Hawk years ago. That thing was awesome, but like the others said, be ready to spend some $$ on spare parts and spend alot of time tinkering with it to keep it running. I used to remove the engine and servos and throw it in the dishwasher. It came out sparkling clean! :)

ohhh! And definitley get one of the rechargeable "HotShots"? I think that's what they were called, the "spark plug" to start them. The ones with replaceable batteries were junk
