PC fans uk growers please :D:D

Hi there
i have a cab about a meter tall and about 70cm wide about 36cmdeep.
i am strugerling on what to do about venterlation i have been told to get some 12v PC fans but cba wiring them up can you buy some that all ready have a uk plug on??????
if so could some one post me some links. If not were do i get them from and how do i wire them up. Also how many do you think i would need i was thinking 2 for exhaust and 1 for intake.
Any help would be greatly appreciated i am new to this and i really need some help thanks guys :

Maplins sell fans that are the same size and shape as pc fans but they run on mains voltage so you can just wire them to a plug.

don't waste energy pushing air into a box.

keep the fans as exhaust, near the top.

keep the intakes passive and near the bottom (air close to the floor is a bit cooler), and air pressure will keep air rushing in through the intake. try it. light an incense and hold it near the intake, the smoke should rush in as if there were a fan, but no, it's just airpressure.....

how many of these would you recomend for exhaust 1x120mm or 2x 80mm i am not really sure how much i would need thanks

would that be enough??

don't go by the size of the fan.

go by the CFM's.

there's a 120mm fan that pulls 100+cfm's, that's like twice as much as bathroom extractor fans!!!!

read the specs, and you'll have to do some math, because CFM's are CUBIC FEET PER MINUTE, and you're in the UK and you work with meters.

i'll do you the favor:

i used a conversion calculator and got your cab is about 14 inches by 27 in by 39 inches.

you got about 14,742 square inches, or just about 8.5 cubic feet, correct??? not a big cab, a few 80mm case fans will do.

you're going to want to switch the air inside the cab around once a minute is good enough to keep the plants alive, but that's not the real purpose of circulating air, it has to do with temperatures....

be sure and use more than one fan though in case one of the fans fails, you have a backup.... it's a bit of redundancy that might prove vital if there's a power surge or something that burns out two of the fans, you;ll still have the third at least doing something. there's nothing worse in a small cab than loosing ventilation, temps go up into the 100's quick.

case fans are cheap, go to newegg.com and search case fans, select lowest price, and you'll see 80mm case fans capable of moving 25 cfm's for $1.99 USD. get a 10 pack and you'll be set for life!!!

the ones you don't use on the box you could use to entertain yourself building mini hovercrafts while you wait for your plants to grow.....

omg dude thanks so much i carn't belive you went through that trouble ok so i am going to get 2x 80mm fans for exhaust i think there push about 28cfm give or take. And i am going to get so passive intake. i would give you more rep but it wont let me thanks so much D:
